A small Landes village in southern Chalosse, Ossages is nestled by the Béarn foothills connected to its own valleys and hills. Adjacent to the Pyrénées Atlantiques, the town is located at an altitude of 148 metres (486 feet) making it possible for residents and visitors to see the Pyrenees, the Rhune and the Pic du Midi on a clear day.
Sightseeing
Several springs supplied by two towns :
- To the south, Lataillade stream which starts at Saint Boès and empties into the Gave de Pau in Puyoo.
- To the north, Grand Arrigan which starts at Saint Boès and empties into the Luy (tributary of the Adour river) in Mimbaste.
